Complete renovation and addition of a glazed verandah to a house.
The house was very closed so the renovation was started with building a verandah on to the rear. In the garden room a kitchen and dining corner where placed. Two double doors connect the garden with the interior. The glazed roof brings a flood of light right in to the centre of the house.
A few structural adjustments where necessary to optimise the circulation and enlarge the bathroom.
The wooden windows had single glass, they where replaced with aluminium windows with double insulating glass. The windows are in a lively blue colour on the outside, on the interior they are white. The convector heaters are replaced with radiators.
The dark floor is changed in a light beige ceramic tile. In the reading corner a parket floor in oak is placed. The electrical installation is modernised just like the alarm system witch was build-in.
The doors of the kitchen cupboard are made of solid beech in combination with etched glass. The working surface is made in Marlin granite and the kitchen equipment is chosen with a inox finish.
